Mojo reviver!

This is my entry for Dawn's current colour challenge - it helped me to find my missing Mojo lol!

First off I used my Guide Lines 1 set to make some patterned paper using Melon Berry, Berry Sorbet and Dark Chocolate inks:

Here's the card and note holder made with the paper:

I finally got around to making one of Dawn's distressed flowers - fun fun to make! I cut the leaves freehand and used my Scor-Pal to mark the veins, then sponged them and the flower edges.

With the left over paper I made my mum a little note holder - she never has paper by the phone for messages I thought I'd change that!

These are so simple - I just coated a coaster with Mod Podge, adhered the paper then sponged and sanded the edges. Added a strip of the paper to both sides of the bulldog clip and a touch of ribbon.

Now I can't wait for Dawn's next colour challenge! Thanks for visiting today!

Card Couture

I had super duper fun playing with one of Lauren Meader's latest PTI download templates called Card Couture (sorry for the rubbish piccies, photography is NOT my thing)....

I thought the concertina style box would be perfect for storing different occasion cards for those times you get caught short at the last minute!!

There are 5 compartments so I made 4 different occasion cards - Thank You, Birthday, Thinking of You & Get Well (all same style - just different round sentiments), leaving the last compartment for envelopes....

Recipe: Stamps - Around & About Sentiments & Spiral Bouquet / Paper - 2008 Bitty Dot Basics / Cardstock - Vintage Cream & Dark Chocolate / Ink Pads - Dark Chocolate / Ribbon - Luxe Satin Vintage Cream / Vintage Buttons - Dark Chocolate & Vintage Cream White Mix / Other - Martha Stewart Edge Punch, SU! Punch, Prima Flowers, Sizzix Leaf Die, Quickutz Label Die

The children are staying with my parents this week so lots of playtime for me lol (how terrible am I?!!) Thanks so much for looking & have a wonderful day :)
