Challenge: Olympics
Helllloooooo there! Did you miss us?? We we sure missed you guys but as with everything - sometimes a wee break is in order! Now that we're all rested and revived (:0| we're here to bring you a lovely new challenge. With the biggest sporting event EVERto be hosted in the sunny country (!) we call home just around the corner, we are asking you all to join us in celebrating the London 2012 Olympic Games. What an exciting time to be a Brit!
When I was searching my brain for an idea I thought about the medals and how, with a bit of old fashioned Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel I could fashion my very own gold medal - the closest I will EVER get I must add! I impressed it with the globe image from Masculine Motifs and stamped the "You Did It" sentiment from Enjoy The Ride below it.
Card Recipe {You Did It}
Stamps: Masculine Motifs, Enjoy The Ride
Card: Stampers Select White, Pure Poppy
Ink: True Black
Other: Ribbon (Doodlebug), UTEE, Versamark
Over to Kate: "I am getting SOOO excited about the Olympics! The TV is going to be on A LOT during August and I'm lucky that I get to go to one of the events too. My card is a simple one dedicated to the team that I hope will do brillliantly - go Team GB!!
Card Details:
Stamps: Fresh Alphabet (PTI)
Card: Stamper's Select White, Hawai'in Shore, Harvest Gold, True Black, New leaf, Pure Poppy (PTI)
Other: Circle Nestabilities/Cuttlebug/Corner Chomper
Over to Aimes:
Well what a week to start this challenge as the Olympic Torch makes its way through our neck of the woods on Friday! I always love to tune into the Olympics, no matter where in the world it's being hosted but there's certainly something extra-special to it when it's taking place on our doorstep *wink*
So WHAT do you stand to win this time I hear you ask. Its a Fruit Fusion: Cherries stamp set.
So here are the usual but oh so important rules:
* Enter as any times as you wish! All entries must contain at least one PTI product to qualify and can cater for as many different challenges as you please! (please state what is PTI as sometimes it's hard for us to see...)
* All entries must be newly created (well, new to Blogland anyways!). Please don't link to old posts that might happen to fit the brief of the challenge!!Please leave a link back to this challenge on your entry too :)

A right royal challenge
Hello and welcome to a new challenge with a royal twist! So if you live in the UK it will not have passed you by that there is a certain royal event taking place next week, towns and villages are laden with bunting and flags and everyone is getting ready for a knees-up!
So we thought we would have our own Jubilee celebrations here on the blog by asking you to make a Jubilee-themed card!
I made my card for my god-mother who moved from the UK to California 40 years but is still passionately British. I thought a Union Jack card would make her smile:
Card Details:
Stamps: Fillable Frames 1
Ink: Enchanted Evening/Pure Poppy
Card:Enchanted Evening/Pure Poppy/Stamper's Select White
Other: Pure Poppy ribbon/scalloped border die/Fillable Frames 1 die
Over to Aimes
"For this challenge I indulged myself in the patriotic colours that seem to be already lining the streets in preparation for the celebrations:
Card Deets
{Thank You}
Stamps: Tiny Tags (Papertrey Ink)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Card: Enchanted Evening (Papertrey Ink)
Patterned Paper: Pure Poppy Bitty Stars (Papertrey Ink)/Diamonds (Uniko Studio Digital)
Accessories: Tiny Tags Die, Fresh Snow Twill Ribbon (Papertrey Ink)
I couldn't add a sentiment easily to this design with its mix of patterns so I opted for a tiny tag instead :)"
Over to Caryn:
I too chose to go with a red, white and blue colour scheme - well, it would be rude not to wouldn't it?!!
Ink: Pure Poppy and Enchanted Evening
Card: Pure Poppy, Enchanted Evening, Stampers Select White.
Ribbon: from stash!
And here's what one randomly selected peep will win:
Happy Stamping!

Challenge: Super Circles!
Hey!
Welcome to a fabulous new challenge! We hope you're ready to ink along with us! :)
This fortnight we're honouring the most super of shapes - the circle! We know, we know: hexagons might be so on trend right now, but circles still rock! Afterall, a hexagon is just a circle with straight edges and points, right? *wink*
So my brain got tickin' for this challenge and I started stamping the circular image from Daily Designs. I wondered what pattern I'd end up with if I rotated the circle through 360 degrees....
This pattern reminds me of one Christmas as a kid when I went crazy over my new toy: Spirograph! Did you ever have one of these? I used to make so many patterns with that baby and pin them on my pinboard to admire :)
If you're a visual learner, then here's a peek at how I stamped that image:
Spirograph, stamping stylee! I like it! :)
Over to Caryn...
Well I decided to go punchy with my card and broke open my Raspberry Fizz patterned papers and paired them with the Aqua Mist ones. It was a simple case of punching circles from different papers and then layering them up to give this scalloped effect. I die cut the letter from the block alphabet die and adhered them to a strip of AM card stock and that was it.
Here's Kate: "I had a real urge to stamp a circle background for my card so used my Mehndi Medallion set - technically some of them aren't true circles but hey! I'm loving this combination of Melon Berry, Aqua Mist and Harvest Gold!"
Card details: (PTI unless stated otherwise)
Stamps: Fillable Frames 1/Mehdni Medallion
Ink: Melon Berry/Harvest Gold/Aqua Mist
Card: Stamper's Select White
Other: Fillable Frames 1 die/Corner Chomper (We R Memory Keepers)/Aqua Mist button
Our prize this fortnight for one randomly selected peep is this stamp set:
