Challenge: Whatever the Weather!

Wow - well, thanks to my computer trying to outrightly reject the new blogger layout I am finally able to  post this weeks new challenge (sorry for the delay!).

The challenge for the next fortnight is entitled "Whatever the weather" - perfectly appropriate if you live in the UK at the moment as we've certainly be having some "weather" here these last few days!!

For my card I went very "me" in that it is predominantly Pure Poppy and uses {one of} my all time favourites stamp sets - Scattered Showers.  I have said before but it's worth saying again.... those new inks are just GORGEOUS.  It makes me happy just looking at them!!

Card Deets:
{Cheer Up Buttercup}
Stamps: Scattered Showers
Ink: Pure Poppy
Cardstock: Pure Poppy, Stampers Select White, Beautiful Blooms pp
Dies: Heart Border, Label Basics, Scattered Showers.

Over to Aimes
"Hmmmmm...weather.....gotta admit that this challenge had me a little stumped for a while until I looked outside my window and inspiration struck:

Card Deets
{You Make Me Smile}
Stamps: Signature Greetings (Papertrey Ink)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Cardstock: Orange Zest, Stamper's Select White, Lemon Tart (Papertrey Ink)
Accessories: Various ribbons in shades of Lemon Tart, Harvest Gold and Summer Sunrise (Papertrey Ink)

Yup, it was actually sunny! Right now that seems like a rarity!

This sun was super easy to create with a scrap circle of cardstock and scrap pieces of ribbon. The sentiment seems so fitting for a sun; in fact, I may dedicate this card to the sun in the hope that it will come out a little more *wink*"

And here's Kate: "Well this non-stop rain and flooding made me leap towards a set that shouted sunshine at me, this card came together in a flash and makes me dream of cocktails on a beach where it's NOT raining!!"

Card Deets:
Stamps: A Day at the Beach/Scattered Showers
Ink: Summer Sunrise/Harvest Moon/Aqua Mist/Raspberry Fizz/Smokey Shadow
Card: Stamper's Select White
Other: Oval die/Cuttlebig Swiss Dots Embossing folder

And the prize up for grabs this week is?

And not forgetting the rules!!:

* Enter as any times as you wish! All entries must contain at least one PTIproduct to qualify and can cater for as many different challenges as you please! (please state what is PTI as sometimes it's hard for us to see...)

* All entries must be newly created (well, new to Blogland anyways!). Please don't link to old posts that might happen to fit the brief of the challenge!!Please leave a link back to this challenge on your entry too :)

* To enter, use our inlinkz thingy at the bottom of this post. Please leave the correct URL for your entry post and not just your generic blog address! If you're having problems then just leave a comment with a link to your post featuring the project on your blog or online gallery.

* Worldwide entries are more than welcome to share the inspiration and can be in with a chance of being a Top 3 PTI Passionista, but unfortunately prizes can only be shipped within Europe!

* Challenge closes on Monday, May 14th 2012 at 9.00am BST

* As well as a randomly picked winner, we'll select the top three creations we like the most and feature them on the Blog. The top three PTI Passionistas will have chance to display a Top 3 Passionista Blinkie on their own blog.

Happy stamping!

Hi Aimes-

I accidently posted the wrong picture on the Inlinkz and it is not giving me the option to delete and add the correct image... The link is right - just the picture is wrong...

If you can delete my link I will repost.

Thank you for your help.

Natasha

No worries, Natasha - so long as it's the right link it's fine! :)
