It begins...

Hi there fellow PTI fans!! Apologies for the lack of posts this past week, both Aimes and I have been caught up with 'sturf' and just haven't had time to create or post... up until yesterday! I was so inspired by the new Christmas releases (and how much did I ADORE all the new sets! It was an expensive day lol!!) that yesterday afternoon I pulled out one of my older PTI Christmas sets and started some holiday cards.

I used the Believe set, which was released two years ago this month - it was around this time that I discovered PTI..and my bank account hasn't been the same since lol! (Worth every penny though!)

...red, white and kraft is one of my absolute favourite Christmas colour combos so expect to see a lot more of it in the coming months! I usually colour this tree but I decided this time to leave it as an outline image and just added some black Stickles for the berries.

So what did you all think of the new releases? Did anyone order anything? What was your favourite? We'd love to know!

Kate x

Ink - Pure Poppy/Versafine black/Fresh Snow

I of course concur with the colour combo and reiterate the feeling about how much I will be using it too ;D This set still looks so classy - I think it must be a combination of class from your self and the stamps though.

Hope you are well :D

This is a beautiful card. I love the colour scheme - it's not one I would have thought of but if you don't mind I will "borrow" it. The new releases are gorgeous, my favourite is the Tree Trimming Trio.

This is so pretty. I am a newbie when it come to PTI, just plaed my second order and yep I got a few of the new releases. My favourite has to be the stockings. Can't wait for those to arrive. Maybe next month I will order card and inks, so I can take part in your challenges. TFS

Honestly? None of them are on my wish list... Now, before you drum me outta the PTI fan club, you should know I am WAAAAAY picky about Christmas images and every year my card centres around the theme of peace. I also have my cards for the next 10 years kinda planned (for that, read stamps bought!!!) I did like the images, just not enough to put them in front of about 20 other sets!! It was kind of a relief not to dream about the releases this month!!!

Can't really make out why kraft works with red & white but it DOES! Looks so Chrismassy! Great card Kate and I love this set too - got it second hand and was really pleased with it.

Hi Kate, love this card, lovely colours and really pretty stamp - hard to believe we are preparing already for Xmas, still gives us a distraction away from those horrible dark nights !

A wonderful Christmas card! I love those traditional colors :) I didn't order this month but think the Vintage Labels will go to my cart... sooner or later!

Love that colour combo Kate - really cheerful and bright and one of my old favourites! I'm not sure how but 3 sets leapt into my basket with a mind of their own! I got Vintage lables, the poinsettias and Dawns signature one - but I have a feeling they'll get held up by the postal strike!
