Challenge 13: Cherished Colour

Hey!

Firstly, sorry so much for the delay in posting this! I'm back at work now and still in the process of moving apartments - oh excuses, excuses I know, I'm just being a bad blogger aren't I? LOL! I PROMISE to be more organised from this day forward - honest!

I was overwhelmed with the amount of entries and stunning CAS cards for the last challenge - you all really captured the CAS style so well!

Well I hope you're all ready for the next challenge?! This week there's no excuse for not playing along because this week we want you to create a card using your favourite colour. This challenge should get your mojo going if you can indulge in your fave colour to start with!

Firstly my fave colour without a doubt is green! Some say I like it because I can turn into a green-eyed monster at times but I say I like it because it's fresh and fun just like PTI's Leaf Green *drool*!

Here's my example (ignore the chaos in the background - I'll explain later!):

Recipe: (All Papertrey Ink unless otherwise stated)
Stamps - On My Couch
Card - Kraft/New Leaf/Pure Poppy/Enchanted Evening
Ink - Memento Black/Fresh Snow

Other - Enchanted Evening Satin Ribbon/Circle Nestability/Vellum/£10 LOL!

Here's Kate's - using her all-time favourite and beloved Aqua Mist ;) (No surprises there then Kate LOL!)

Recipe: (All Papertrey Ink unless otherwise stated)
Stamps - In Bloom
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Card - Kraft/Vintage Cream
Ribbon - Vintage Cream
Other - Copic Markers/sewing machine/adhesive pearls/Martha Stewart border punch/corner rounder punch

Now here's the deets, the challenge ends at 9am BST on Monday 21st September. An entry will be randomly selected to win a selection of PTI Cardstock, Designer Paper and Ribbon (The prize can only be shipped within Europe - sorry!) To enter for a chance to win or just to share your creativity (entries worldwide are welcome for just fun!), simply leave a comment with a link to your entry via a blog post or online gallery. To qualify all entries must use at least one PTI product!

I can't wait to see all your favourite colours - how many more green fans are there out there?

That´s a great challenge and some wonderful cards. Hm, what color should I choose, I love them all? Maybe red, or pink? Well, I hope I can make a decision and come up with a card. But not in the next three or four days, please be patient. :)

Hugs, Tina

You ladies are never going to believe it but I have made my card. How spooky is that, I have just put the finishing touches on it my using my all time favourite colour (bet you can't guess what it is LOL!). I will put the link on soon when I have uploaded onto my blog.

Your works are dreamy of course and your couch card will go down in PTI legend AImes :D and Kate your aqua mist card is beautiful, with the clarity and detail I would expect from you :D

Have a great week both,

Big love,

Emma xx

Well this week girls any theme would have been a perfect one, since we all just got our new goodies from Steph! (she's a star!)
I made this card for my friends birthday a few days ago and then I saw Kate's card and it made me laugh (I didn't copy, honest!)

Hope you like,

What a great new challenge and such lovely cards from both of you! Now, there's a though decision to be made: What's my favorite of all the wonderful PTI colors?

I love New Leaf, too! I need to be better at using it, though... I tend to hoard the colors I like.

Aimes, your money-behind-the-cushion card is so clever! Kate, what an elegant card!

Hi there,
since some time I am following your blog and this is the first time, that I participate.
MY CARD

Now you deceide yourself, if I am allowed to participate... I live in Egypt, but because of the bad post situation here, I get all my goods delivered to my German adress and my family brings it over on their visits. So, somehow I am still German ;)

Blue and brown, this is one of my favourite color combos. I made a tag for a gift set and the buttons are PTI.

I did this card in Spring Rain and I am so in love with it I have it sitting on my bureau so I can look at it all the time! Something about kraft and that pale blue that is just so striking...... (and normally I do not go for light blue). Thanks for the inspiration! (from the USA)

It's me again. I love to play, even though I am not trying to "win" - I live in the USA. My colors always involve kraft and red.. I did a little birthday card for my nephew that is turning 3 tomorrow! He loves cars and I found this cute punch from Martha Stewart.. Hope you like it. All the ink is PAPERTREY INK, as are the sentiments!
