Beautiful card, love the colours and the sentiment....Your background paper has worked out wonderfully, it's nice to make it yourself every now and again

Thank you Steph for taking the time to think about teachers. It's not the easiest job in the world - how many others look after 30 little children everyday and are completely responsible for them for 6-7 hours of the day? This time of the year is always the most stressful and busiest - I have 32 reading papers, 32 spellings, 64 writing tasks, 27 mental maths and 27 written maths papers to mark in a couple of weeks time and then I have all the end of year reports to write! Not much fun over half term as you can guess what I'll be doing for most of it. OK I have a holiday but not really....
I really do appreciate your thoughts and words of kindness as I'm sure other teachers will do too. Your card is gorgeous and whichever teacher you send it to will love it too!
Lovely card Steph and Vanessa is right - teachers have such a difficult job and mostly just get complaints. Two of my sisters are primary teachers and I know what a hard time they have.
Beautiful card Steph, I know that the teacher you give this card to will really appreciate it. They do a wonderful job - not a job I could ever do - I definately do not have the right character.
Aw Steph - go to the top of the class! Seriously, as a teacher once myself (BC) I know how hard a job it is and so it is nice to know that it is all appreciated. I doubt I'll ever go back to it though, to much grief for not enough money!!
I would have loved to have gotten this card though - it would have taken the sting out of the 30 lavender soaps-on-a-rope at the end of term!!
It's a lovely card,Steph...and as a teacher myself I know how much it will be appreciated... and how right you are about the job.
Steph,
What a lovely card to be received by a teacher. I wish your kiddies were in my class, then I might receive such a thoughtful card, lol :)
Great job on the colour combo and the background paper - just stunning.

Very pretty!
Love your own background. Lovely colors.
Hooray for Teachers! I honestly can't think of a more rewarding yet challenging profession! (I teach and support students with behavioural needs so I guess I must like an extra challenge!) I love to receive anything from students though I'd be sooooo chuffed if I received anything like this! Fab card, love the background you're created. I think this is another stamp set I 'need' LOL!
Hugs,
Aimes

Great card! This is my first time at your blog, and it's so cute! Lovely!
I am wrecking my brain right now trying to think of the perfect teacher gift - guess when the last day of school is.... TOMORROW! EEK!
What will I do, what will I do???
