Welcome!

Welcome to A Passion for Papertrey! We're thrilled that Nichole Heady has given us her backing for this new venture and so excited to be able to now share our All-Papertrey blog with you!

We've outlined what A Passion for Papertrey is all about on the sidebar to the right. Steph and I met on another stamping forum and thanks to our love of (addiction to?!) Papertrey became friends. Subsequently we decided there should be somewhere where stampers from the UK and the rest of Europe could share their PTI projects, stop by for inspiration and take part in challenges and swaps.

While swaps and challenge prizes will be limited to within Europe we of course in no way want to exclude our overseas PTI stamping brothers and sisters, so if you are from out of Europe please still feel free to visit us! We hope to provide inspiration for stamping with Papertrey products to everyone and indeed will be featuring 'Papertrey stampers' from around the world!

So... what better way to kick off our new blog than with the first of our fortnightly challenges and a GREAT prize!!

Check these out:

Floral Frenzy stamp set

Quick Kit - containing Cardstock, Ink and ribbon in 4 Papertrey colours

We're going to give both of these away to the winner of our first challenge - to create a standard size A6 card using Papertrey products. You could use your favourite Papertrey stamps (with other companies card/papers if you don't have all the Papertrey colours) or even just their papers and ribbon.

When you've uploaded your creation to your blog or online gallery leave us a link in the comments section below. We are planning on utilising the My Linky application on future challenges, in the meantime we will manually add your link to this post from your comments.

You have until 9am on Monday, March 9th to enter when we'll randomly draw a winner, prizes will be shipped within Europe only. Good luck and have fun!

We've both created a card using the Floral Frenzy stamp set that is up for grabs:

Kate:

Recipe:
Stamps - Floral Frenzy
Card - Stamper's Select White/True Black/Raspberry Fizz/Summer Sunrise
Ink - Raspberry Fizz/Summer Sunrise/Aqua Mist/True Black
Ribbon - Raspberry Fizz Swiss Dot/ Summer Sunrise Swiss Dot

Other - blue button, black floss

Steph:

Recipe:
Stamps - Floral Frenzy/Borders and Corners (square)
Card - Very Vanilla/Dark Chocolate/Aqua Mist
Paper - Chocolate Remix
Ribbon - Aqua Mist Satin

And here's a link to the Floral Frenzy countdown (where Nichole introduces the sets before they are released) and to the PTI Floral Frenzy gallery showing some samples by the Design Team.

Thanks so much for visiting, we'll be back very soon with some more Papertrey projects to share!

I can not tell you how excited I am! I love PTI and it make me wish I was still living in the US every month when the do a release. Thanks so much for coming up with a great idea!

Congratulations on your new blog. I've had my eye on Papertrey stuff for a long while now but, due to customs taxes on anything over £18, have been unable to buy anything :-( This also means that I can't join in your challenge - double boo hoo :-( Please let me know how you get your stuff - thanks.

Thanks for the comment Steph - I group together with a few other friends every month to get mine. This really saves on shipping costs and we split any customs charges too.

Do you know anyone else you can share an order with? Maybe through this blog there may be one or two others you can hook up with to make a group order. Nichole actually says on the International shipping section of the website that it's a good idea to share an order with a friend. Hope that helps and thanks again for visiting!

Well done girls! I've no Papertrey stuff (sob, weep, wail) and so can't join in (bigger sob, weep & wail). I will still pop in though and try to keep my envy in check!

I would be very interested in joing a share group I know you get a discount for ordering over $100 and so on. My mom is getting tired of posting my stuff to me as I only let myself order once or twice a year, or when I know I am going home.

On Tuesday I got my very first PTI-sets and they are so great, even the packaging is simply brilliant, the cases for the stamps are within an I am so happy with every single set. And now I found your website in coincidence. It´s just perfect, isn´t it? I´m from Germany and I hope, my English is good enough. I´d love to take part in the challenges.
