Template Challenge

Happy Monday fellow PTI fans! Is anyone else as excited about this month's release as I am?! If you haven't been following the countdown check out Nichole's blog immediately! It's shaping up to be one of my favourite releases... the couch set is a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e! And how about the button set - what an amazing idea, I never guessed what that was going to be from the peeks!

So it's time for another challenge here on this little blogeroo of ours and this time it's all about Lauren's Timeless Templates. Lauren never ceases to amaze me with her creativity with these templates - how lucky are we to have access to templates that involve no measuring, just print and cut!!

Here is the link to all the templates - they all come with several projects made by the design team. They cost $5 and are fabulous for us overseas PTI customers as there is no shipping costs - hooray! Just download them onto you computer, print, cut, stick and stamp!

So for this challenge we want to see projects made from any Timeless Template - you don't have to use any other PTI products on your project if you don't have them, but of course we'd love to see them if you do!

When you look at the list of the templates you'll see there are even two free ones to download - I've chosen one of these - Recipe Wrap-Up - for my samples.

My best friend runs her own cake business from home - she makes the most fabulous, and fabulously-decorated, cupcakes and novelty cakes. She's in the process of launching a new website for which she is soon having a photoshoot.

As part of the shoot she wanted to have some cupcakes with some of my cupcake toppers - here's what I came up with:

And of course I had to made her something pretty to put them in. This is the front of the Recipe Wrap-Up:

The inside without contents:

And filled with the cuppie toppers:

Such a fun template to make, I love the little pockets - think of all the fun uses for them!!

Recipe: (all Papertrey Ink)

Toppers:
Stamps - Ambassador Monogram/Fresh Alphabet/Heart Prints/Women of Life/Star Prints
Ink - Pure Poppy/Sweet Blush

Template
Stamps - Friends Til the End
Ink - Hibiscus Burst
Card - Kraft/Hibiscus Burst/Stamper's Select White
Ribbon and Button - Hibiscus Burst/white floss

Over to Stephanie....

I used the ever so popular Pack A Picnic Template (it's my favourite to date)....

....& what's inside?....yummy strawberry sweeties of course!....

Recipe: Stamps - Fruitful / Card - New Leaf, Pure Poppy, Berry Sorbet & Guidelines II Grid / Ink - New Leaf & Berry Sorbet / Ribbon - Swiss Dot Satin Berry Sorbet, Topnotch Twill Berry Sorbet & Extra Fine Polka Dot Satin New Leaf / Other - SU! Punches, Martha Stewart Edge Punch & Cricut Expression Machine

Here's the prize that will go to the randomly drawn winner:

(1 roll each of Plum Pudding and Ocean Tides ribbon, 3 sheets each of Plum Pudding and Ocean Tides Cardstock, 2 sheets of matching Polka Dot 8 x 8 patterned papers, handful of Vintage White and Cream buttons.)

To join the challenge post your project on your blog or online gallery then link to it in the comments section below. You have until 9am on Monday, July 27th to enter. I'm afraid we can only post prizes within Europe.

Thanks and have fun!

  14. Here is my share... I really like it. The paper is craft paper and the designer paper is from the Basic Grey Bittersweet collection. The button is a Dark Chocolate Vintage button and the ribbon is from my stash. This is my first time ever that I play in a challenge!
